"Family Issues" Class:
Date: Every Tuesday (On Hiatus for Summer)
Time: 6:30pm
Location: The Flemings' home - 2751 Mt Reuben Rd, Glendale
Written by Bill Scheidler, author of "The Foundations of Church Life" and taught by Patty Fleming; The "Family Issues" class covers topics of family relationships, roles and responsibilities from a biblical viewpoint, including marriage, the restoration of the home, communication, resolving conflict, the value of children, child discipline, the atmosphere of the home and developing the spiritual lives of your children. It also covers Christian principals of dating, divorce, remarriage, blended families and grand-parenting. It is great preparation for those not yet married, practical help for those in the midst of raising a family, and excellent insight for those with grandchildren or who are mentoring spiritual sons and daughters. The class will be held at the Flemings' home, 2751 Mt Reuben Rd, beginning Tuesday, March 17th at 6:30 pm. Please let Patty know if you plan to attend, by FB message, phone 541 832-2868, email, or in person!

Think Orange
Date: Sundays
Time: 10:30 am
Location: AGCC
Who'da thunk it? The strength of our churches is bound up in the strength of our homes and families.    The 'Think Orange' personnel did think about it, pray about it and develop a great resource for large churches and small churches alike enabling them to target the importance of the home and the resources of God's church in building healthy, impacting kids for Christ.   AGCC has embraced the 'Think Orange' strategy and we are incorporating it in our Children's Church ministry.   The result?  Exciting, fulfilling, challenging, enriching and life-building ministry to children on Sunday mornings.    There are three goals of 252 Basics wrapped up in one time frame.  By 5th grade we want kids to understand:    1. Faith  -  I can trust God no matter what.    2. Wisdom  - I need to make the wise choice.   3. Friendship  -  I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
